每天存一元 「鼓勵學生每人每天至少存一元,再以豐 東國中名義捐給慈濟建校。重點不在金額 大小,而在培養同學每日發善心。」 九二一地震為中部地區帶來了百年浩 劫……。慈濟正在進行援建災區學校,截 至目前為止,已認養四十五所學校,建設 金額近六十億元。 本校北棟樓也在慈濟認養之列,預計建設 經費是一億一千萬元,所以我想懇請各位 家長也能響應慈濟大愛行列,每月捐助一 百、兩百元……積聚眾人的愛心,一起打 造希望工程。 也許當北棟樓重建之後,孩子們已升上二 年級,不會再使用到,但相信各位家長, 都還有更小的子弟,將來他們也都會陸陸 續續升到豐東國中就讀。 提供一個適當學習的環境,培育健康的下 一代,這不但是證嚴法師的心願,更是學 校以及各位家長的盼望。 豐東國中一年十七班導師 黃秋玉敬上 這是黃秋玉老師在地震後寫給班上學生家 長的一封信。 九二一大地震,豐東國中北棟樓教室一夕 之間傾毀,所有剛上一年級的學生,新鮮 的國中生活都還未嘗夠,就見到校園毀損 的容顏。教室倒了,學校毀了,怎麼辦呢? 正當大家遍思無計時,卻傳來慈濟援建豐 東國中的消息。 當知道豐東國中名列慈濟首批援建學校名 單之內,全校師生興奮異常。但高達一億 一千萬元的重建經費,讓師生們在興奮之 餘,也為慈濟暗自擔心; 畢竟慈濟只是一個民間慈善單位,善款來 自十方,如果學校只是一味接受幫助,對 學生反而是一種反教育。
