Today genetics – an intruder invading our lives –
stands in the limelight of all discussions on fertility
and assisted reproduction (ART). Considering these
changes, we need to reconsider how we care for
infertile couples in the light of «Genetics in Fertility
and ART». Our short, yet highly focused «Comprehensive ART Review in Genetic Times» aims at updating
the participants on the novelties that affect how
we handle «the Oocyte, the Embryo and the Uterus».

The comprehensive review will provide practical
guidance andrecipes for the doctors – gynecologists
and urologists – who wish to conduct infertility workups and pre-ART treatments in their offices. Particular
attention will be given to a confounder of infertility
and its treatments, endometriosis and adenomyosis,
emphasizing the practical workup and management –
surgery or ART – of this deceitful disorder.
