As it has been planned, there will be a US Western National Park Tour, 8/5 – 8/12,
organized by primarily 台大化工、化學系同學. The tour will start from LA (8/5 morning),
going to Las Vegas, Zion, Salt Lake City, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Bryce National Parks,
etc. and return to Las Vegas and LA (8/12 night).
There will be two full bus load of about 80 people of mostly 1965-67屆理、工、文學院
alumni and their friends. And among the participants, at least 6 families are from 建中
1962 — three families to join the trip from Las Vegas; three to join from LA in the
morning of 8/5.
These five people of 建中1962 — 陳雍、閻碧嘉夫婦； 項斯立； 祝開景、顧培璧夫婦 —
will come to LA area in the afternoon of 8/4, all to stay overnight in the Best Western
Executive Inn of Rowland Height (E Gale Ave.); so all could be picked up in the morning
of 8/5 at the same hotel by the buses to start the tour.
I am just wondering whether you and other JG62 alumni in LA could help to organize a
gathering somewhere in LA in the evening of 8/4; these five people could come together
if there is restaurant or somewhere you could book.
