This year we celebrate Berkeley Square’s 25th Anniversary. The
Jeannine Groh Quartet will be here to perform as we spend
some time together enjoying a great meal and looking back
at the last 25 years here at Berkeley. Join us for a wonderful
meal. Our menu is: Tossed Salad, Dinner Roll, Steak, Chicken,
Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Vegetable Medley, and Dessert. Free
to all residents of Berkeley Square.

Oktoberfest • Wednesday, September 10th • 2:00 PM
Roll Out the Barrel…. Join us at lunch time for a delicious
Oktoberfest Feast. Menu includes: Assorted Sausages and
Sauerkraut, Hot German Potato Salad, Country Green Beans,
and Fried Chicken Patties w/gravy.
**Please note lunch hours are 11:00 AM-2:00 PM
The cost is free for all residents. No Reservations are needed.

Join us again at our Oktoberfest party at 2:00 PM out on the
Elements Parking Lot (Cullen Hall if it should rain). We will turn
the parking lot into one big Oktoberfest Party. Entertainment

Location: Cullen Hall, Westover
Join us as Westover and Elements
contestants compete in a quiz game
comprising three rounds: Jeopardy! Double Jeopardy!, and
Final Jeopardy! The material for the questions covers a
wide variety of topics (including history and current events,
the sciences, the arts, popular culture, literature, and
languages), and there are pun-laden titles (many of which
refer to the standard subjects), wordplay categories, and
even entire sets of categories with a common theme. Fun
for contestants and our audience!!!!

Team Trivial Pursuit (It’s Back!)

Trivial Pursuit is a board game in which
progress is determined by a team’s
ability to answer general knowledge
and popular culture questions. The object of the game
is to correctly answer trivia questions. The game will be
played by TEAMS of people who can talk with each other to

We will be hosting interactive Jeopardy games that we have
designed through a power point program and will be shown on the
large 80” TV in there. Participation will be team based, and is not
limited to any number of people. People can also just attend and
watch if they would like. Open to residents and wellness members.

Fall Awareness

Location: Elements at The Square & Elements at The Bever
We will be promoting Falls Awareness by offering free trial
runs at each location on our Biodex Balance System at each
campus. This is a medical device that is designed to analyze
someone’s fall risk, identify certain deficiencies in balance
control, and then it also has programs built into it that will
improve one’s physical abilities. Open to everyone.

Join us for a health lunch and then over to the theatre to learn
more about this month’s topic. Open enrollment time is coming
again soon. This is a time where you have the chance to change
your plans based on your current needs and get acquainted
with the changes your insurance companies are making. You
will learn about why it is important to pay attention to the
details each and every year. Big changes may have occurred
in your own health or maybe you wanted to ensure your
opportunity for the fitness programs that many insurance
companies have obtained. You will learn which insurance
companies are accepted by Colonial for therapies and the
reason that we are not carried by other insurance companies.

Starting in September we will be hosting weekly chair
volleyball games on Wednesdays at 12:30 pm in the exercise
studio at Berkeley Square. More information and date to
