This is a great way to get involved in a leadership role with National NAWBO. Our chapter has approximately 150 members in Philadelphia and its four surrounding counties. Additionally, our newsletter attracts a readership of nearly 3,000 professionals in the Greater Philadelphia area. Over the last ten years, our chapter has taken entrepreneurial excellence to the next level through our charitable endeavors. By partnering with our South Jersey and Delaware sister chapters, we brought the Athena PowerLINK® program to the Delaware Valley. Program Variety We host a variety of different types of meetings to engage a diverse member base. We host larger conference, monthly programs, an annual meeting, weekly satellite meetings and quarterly Women of Wisdom dinner. New Member Orientation All New Members are personally invited by the membership committee and the goal is to help them maximize their NAWBO benefits as well as introduce them to the other new members. Goody bags are provided as an incentive. Encourage Participation Specific to events, we offer early-bird pricing to encourage early commitment to programs and the board calls every member to invite them to program. Membership committee places calls to all new and renewing members. Mentor Program Free for NAWBO members. Every NAWBO member has the opportunity to become either a Mentor or Mentee-our Educational Chair is in charge of finding the right match. .
