Dr. Dorin Grigoraş Dr. Daniela Chiriac Dr. Ciprian Doru Crisan General objective: Joint development of human resources in the field of healthcare trough cross-border cooperation between institutions Specific objectives: Increasing the quality of healthcare services, through joint training of the medical personnel Improved access for patients to new medical services offered as a result of the skills development of medical staff to use modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of female infertility Project results: Medical and IT equipment purchased by the project Emergency Municipal Clinical Hospital Timisoara purchased medical equipment and IT totaling 73.018 Euro Electrocautery Operator and diagnostic hysteroscope Laparoscopy accessories Notebook computers and multifunctional printer Resectoscope Medical and IT equipment purchased by the project University of Szeged purchased medical and IT equipments totaling 78.704 Euro Laparoscopy accessories Hysteroscopy accessories Notebook computers Multifunctional Printer Opening event in Timisoara 55 participants 10 participants from Szeged Webpage www.actifhuro.ro in three languages: EN, HU, RO Promotional materials: 500 flyers 500 educational brochures 100 file folders Performing the renovation of the operating room in Timisoara 12 meetings of the management team 4 common workshops 96 doctors participating in the joint workshops (40 planned) 2 common workshops in Timisoara 2 common workshops in Szeged Endoscopic interventions performed jointly by medical teams in Timisoara and Szeged (20 planned, 27 made) Closing event in Szeged 52 participants 10 participants from Timisoara Conclusions Thanks to this project, the number of endoscopic interventions in the two hospitals has increased by about 50% Implementation of the project has helped to streamline medical care by reducing the hospitalization period by using endoscopy as a method of diagnosis and treatment Conclusions Furthers needed the development of health infrastructure and increasing training of medical staff to deal with the new technologies introduced and new trends in health care Thanks to this project, was formed a joint medical team, Romanian-Hungarian, able to develop and implement new cross-border projects to improve the health of the population in the border region I am part of it!
